v0.1.46 (Early Access)
Dutch joins the language list and every other translation is caught up. Indicator lights glow in their real colour, old customer messages clear out, and joining a friend works once you are current.
Added
- Dutch is playable, and experimental like the rest. Pick Nederlands in Settings. Coverage matches the other seven, engineer wording behind Tab included.
- A Dutch system starts in Dutch. The game follows your system language, so a machine set to Dutch switches over on this update with nothing to change.
Fixed
Multiplayer
- A guest that is keeping up is no longer treated as behind. The host only recognised a guest one step out of date, so a current one had the whole world resent until it dropped.
Changed
Languages
- The other seven languages are caught up with the English. Around five hundred lines per language changed or arrived since the last pass, and now read in your language rather than English or older wording.
Lighting
- Every indicator light now casts its own glow. Only the nearest hundred or so used to, so standing at a full switch left the machines beside it dark.
- Link and activity lights show their real colour. They ran bright enough to wash out to white, so a green link and an amber transfer looked the same.
- Equipment lights glow in the colo. The glow was only ever switched on in the garage and basement, so the largest room read flat next to them.
Comms
- Customer messages clear out after a week in game. A request you answered or ignored leaves your inbox instead of sitting there for the rest of the campaign, read or not.
- Empty customer threads leave the list. A conversation with nothing left in it disappears, and comes back the moment that customer writes to you again.
Notes
- Load once to clear. Old messages go on the first load and do not come back, so a save opened here keeps its shorter history if you go back to v0.1.45.
- Saves work in both directions with v0.1.45. Neither the save format nor the world update format changed.
- Multiplayer needs the host on v0.1.46. The join fix is the host's side of the connection, so both players get it when the host updates.
- Language is a setting, not part of a save. Switching costs nothing and touches nothing you have built.
