Network

Read traffic, inspect topology, and understand customer isolation.

The Network group contains three complementary views: a metrics overview, an interactive topology map, and customer isolation.

Overview

Use Network Overview for ingress and egress bandwidth, switches, and security components. Search the component list when you already know a device name or type.

Network Map

The map visualizes the live path from WAN-facing components toward servers. The Visible layers panel can show or hide rack view, hosts, the last switch in each rack, and individual servers.

Useful controls include:

  • Find a component to locate a named device.
  • Fit map to bring the visible topology back into view.
  • Rearrange to restore the automatic layout.
  • Save layout to keep manual device positions in this browser.
  • Export PNG for the current view or entire map at standard or XL resolution.
  • Unconnected devices to list visible equipment without a path.

Shift-drag selects and moves groups. Expanded groups can be collapsed from the layer panel. The legend distinguishes routers, switches, servers, link speeds, and inter-AZ links.

The Network Map is marked Alpha. Treat unexpected layout or path results as a prompt to verify the physical topology in-game.

Isolation

Use Customer isolation to inspect routing domains and placement. It helps determine whether a customer-specific symptom follows a shared path, a placement boundary, or a distinct routing domain.
