Settings
Configure refresh behavior, appearance, advanced search, and local history.
Settings affect the Companion workspace in the current browser. They do not change the running Uptime simulation.
Application

| No background gradient | On or off | Removes gradients from page, sidebar, logo, and title while keeping active accents |
The default polling rate is five seconds. Faster polling makes changes appear sooner; slower polling reduces how often the browser requests a new snapshot.
Search
Advanced search enables &&, ||, !!, *, quotes, and parentheses throughout the
application. See Expression Search for syntax and examples.
History & storage

| History storage limit | 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, or 200 MB | Caps browser storage; oldest resolved records are removed first |
| Local history usage | Read-only summary | Shows retained incident and problem counts plus storage use |
History is local to the browser. Turning retention off stops keeping resolved entries; it does not change incident state in the game.
