Navigation

Find each Companion area and understand how the interface is organized.

The left sidebar groups views by the operational question they answer. The page title and context change, but the navigation remains available throughout the Companion.

GroupViewsUse it for
OverviewDashboardBroad health and capacity scan
NetworkOverview, Network Map, IsolationTraffic, topology, paths, and customer separation
OperationsServices, Incidents, ProblemsService health and active or recurring failures
InfrastructureHosts, Facility Map, PowerPhysical placement, fleet state, electrical and thermal capacity
BusinessCustomersCustomer health, commitments, and revenue context

The bottom sidebar badge shows whether the Local API is connected. Report a Bug opens the project's external Discord channel; it is not an in-game action.

A practical navigation pattern

  1. Start broad on Dashboard.
  2. Open the domain matching the signal: Network, Operations, Infrastructure, or Business.
  3. Search or filter the relevant table.
  4. Open a row, node, or rack for details.
  5. Use the location and root-cause context to investigate in Uptime.
