2×1G Residential Gateway
Still a house, so still copper. Wall-mounted, two lines (so you can run a second for backup) at a little over two gigabit each. One line cables straight to a switch; a second line needs a gateway to combine them and fail over.

Technical profile
2 copper lines, RJ45 at 1 Gbps each. A second live line makes the edd multi-line — reachability then requires a gateway in the path.
